Assignments/projects

• Manage all direct tax work including the review and filing of business and personal returns, forms P11D, Forms 42, Forms CT61.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and the effect on clients of relevant changes in legislation
• Deal with any tax queries received from clients
• Assisting the tax director with complex tax queries
• Assisting the tax director in training the tax department and wider team.

Qualification/skills and experience and personal attributes

• CTA or ATT
•  Up-to-date knowledge of personal and corporate tax legislation.
•  Minimum 5 years working in practice with technical skills in corporate and personal tax. 
•  Good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
•  Team player with a positive – ‘can do’ approach.
•  Excellent communication skills – written and oral

• Salary from £45k DOE
